Kabocha squash soup with candied pumpkin seeds. Persimmon, pomegranate, and pecan salad with marigold flowers. It's fall in Los Angeles too, bitches. Also, we smoked government issued hash on the back steps after the meal. (Presumably it's for European ex pats with glaucoma.)

fall in los angeles, does that involve leaves changing or apples? no? in nyc, fall means it's 70 degrees and we still get mosquito bites. what up wit dat?
